HISTORY : Philip S. P. Conner was a historian and scholar from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Commodore David Conner, a distinguished veteran of the War of 1812 and Mexican War, and the grandson of Philip Syng Physick who is considered to be "the Father of American Surgery". He would write extensive biographies on both men later in his career.
CONTENTS: Consists of a blueprint copy of handwritten registers of the Anglican Church in Pennsylvania. The registers were first printed in the "Standard of the Cross", May 12, 1888 and later reprinted in "Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography", vol. 12 (October, 1888), p. 341-349.
